Bert owned his own design-build company for nearly three decades. He sold it in 2009 and in 2017 opened a new company, Bert Stiphany Custom Residential Design, LLC. Bert is a licensed builder, has designed and built custom and remodeled homes from Grand Rapids to Traverse City.
